Pit Prophet is a free game where you predict what happens next in real stock car races. There is no purchase, no entry fee and no betting.
During each race, Pit Prophet's Race Control posts calls: short questions about what's about to happen. Each call is open for a short time (usually 15 to 30 seconds; some stay open until the race starts). You get one pick per call and you can't change it once it's locked in.
Race Control settles each call based on what happens as shown on the broadcast and in official results. If a call turns out to be unclear, or something unexpected makes it unfair, Race Control can void it and nobody gets points for it. If a result is posted by mistake, it can be corrected, and everyone's points are recalculated.
Streams run behind live TV. In TV sync you choose how far behind your screen is (0 to 60 seconds). Calls appear and lock that many seconds later for you, and results are never posted until every TV sync window has closed. Setting a bigger delay than your real one to see what happens first is against the rules, and accounts that abuse it can be removed from the leaderboards.
Points add up to your season total. Practice races are simulated and never count.
You can choose a driver. Their fans form a Nation, ranked by the average points per fan who played. A Nation needs at least 3 players in a race to be ranked. The top one each race is the Smartest Fanbase.
A Pit Box is a private leaderboard. Anyone with the code can join. Up to 100 members per Pit Box, and you can be in up to 10.
Before the season, you can pick the Daytona 500 top 5. Picks lock at the scheduled green flag. Entries are scored after the race: 5 points for each driver in the exact spot, 2 points for each of your drivers who finishes in the top 5 in a different spot. Your place on the launch list moves up 10 spots for each friend who joins with your link.
Pit Prophet doesn't award prizes right now. If we ever run a prize promotion, it will have its own official rules, eligibility and "no purchase necessary" terms, posted before it starts.
One account per person. No bots, scripts or multiple accounts. Names must not be offensive or impersonate anyone. We may remove names, reset scores or remove accounts that break these rules.
